What to expect
Making that initial phone call to ask for help is the hardest step because so much of the process is unknown, and that can be really scary.
Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive an intake packet by email. Please complete and email back before your first appointment. A government issued ID is needed at the first appointment as well, except for minor children. Any guardianship papers will also need to be provided.
The first appointment will be spent getting to know one another. I will complete an assessment which will help me understand who you are as a person, what you find important, learn about your life experience and what goals you would like to work on. Based on this information, we will develop a treatment plan together and talk about type of services, length of treatment, and answer any follow up questions you may have.
Insurances I accept:
United
Aetna
Oscar Health
Oxford
Cigna
I also can provide a superbill for reimbursement through HSA/FSA.
I believe that mental healthcare should be accessible for all. Please reach out for sliding scale opportunities. Pro-bono slots are currently filled but a waiting list is available
